Valley of a Thousand Smokes Katmai Alaska River Surfing?

Katmai National Park Alaska .
River Surfing Alaska the last frontier ?
"Its Wild out there " Its been said of this volocanic land scape looks like Waves can exsist?

Lethe river Katmai Alaska .The terrian is looking like fly in lookin at maps . Access? =Tundra ,lava?,smoke,bears,welded ash and tuff old trade route used to cross there. Valley of a Thousand Smokes Lethe river was formed by lava flows sharp rocks ? always.Wonder if there are hot springs?

Death is a option here i think but from the looks of picture the waves could be there?
